Anxiety
When the mind keeps running ahead of you.
A reflection
Anxiety is not a character flaw, and Scripture never treats it as one. The Psalms are full of racing thoughts written down honestly. What Scripture offers is not a command to feel differently on demand, but an invitation: cast it, hand it over, because you are cared for. That word matters. The reason for letting go is not that your worries are silly, but that Someone is attentive to you. Jesus points to birds and wildflowers, not to argue you out of your fear, but to remind you that provision is God's ordinary habit. Today may still be hard. You are allowed to bring it one hour at a time.
