A reflection

Faith in Scripture is rarely tidy certainty. It is Abraham setting out without a map, a father saying he believes and asking for help with his unbelief, a woman reaching through a crowd. Faith is often small and still enough — a mustard seed, Jesus says. That should relieve anyone measuring their own belief and finding it thin. What matters is not the size of your trust but the faithfulness of the One you are trusting. If your faith feels shaky right now, that is not disqualifying. Bring the doubt with you; it has always been welcome in the honest prayers of Scripture.
