Peace
For the noisy hours and the restless nights.
A reflection
Peace, in Scripture, is rarely the absence of trouble. It arrives in the middle of storms, locked rooms, and long nights. Jesus does not promise His followers an untroubled life; He promises His own peace, given as a gift, not earned by getting everything sorted out first. That is worth sitting with. You do not have to fix your circumstances before you are allowed to rest. Paul writes of a peace that guards the heart precisely because it cannot be explained. It comes as we hand over what we are carrying, honestly and in detail, and let God hold it for a while. If your mind is loud right now, you are not failing. Read slowly. Let one line be enough.
