Strength

For the days you are running on empty.

A reflection

Biblical strength is almost never self-generated. It is borrowed, given, renewed. Isaiah's famous promise comes after a long description of tiredness, even among the young and fit — as if to say exhaustion is not a personal failure but a human condition. Paul goes further: weakness becomes the very place grace shows up. That reframes what today asks of you. You do not have to manufacture resolve. You can be honest about being depleted and still be carried. Sometimes strength looks like rest. Sometimes it looks like one more small faithful thing. Both count.
